Model Portfolio for Second Half 2012 — August 31 Results

Model Portfolio for Second Half 2012 — August 31 Results

As of 08/31/12, fourteen stocks are up in price and five stocks are down.  The total portfolio* is up +6.02% from June 29 through August 31, 2012, including dividends earned through August 31, 2012.

Ann Inc. (ANN) shares are up the most at +39.58%.

Macy*s (M) shares are up +17.35%, Apple (AAPL) shares are up +13.91%, and eBay (EBAY) shares are up +13.00%.

Autodesk (ADSK) shares are down the most at -11.26%.

Robert Half Int’l (RHI) shares are down -7.95%, Starbucks (SBUX) shares are down -6.96%, and FedEx (FDX) shares down -4.34%.

*Results assume equal dollar amounts purchased in each stock, rounded off to full shares, using the closing share prices on June 29, 2012.

 

The S&P 500 is up +3.26%, from 1362.16 to 1406.58, between June 29 and August 31, 2012.
